Accessibility

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Notra should work for every notary, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

1. What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on getnotra.com and in the Notra app. That covers text contrast in light and dark mode, full keyboard use with a visible focus ring, labels on every form field, and pages that work with screen readers and zoom.

2. How we check

We use automated accessibility checks in our code and test color contrast in both light and dark mode. We have not yet had an outside accessibility audit.

3. Known gaps

Some parts of Notra may not meet the standard yet. The calendar's drag-to-reschedule needs a pointer, so the same change is also available from each appointment's edit button. If something gets in your way, we want to know.

4. Tell us about a problem

Email support@getnotra.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use. We reply within 5 business days. If you need information from Notra in another format, ask and we will work with you on it.
